The Red Jeans Redemption project supports survivors of sexual trauma, using art to promote healing and raise awareness. These workshops provide safe spaces for participants to express themselves creatively, begin to heal, and build useful skills.

The color red symbolizes a survivor's courage in reclaiming their life, willingness to confront their fears, and resilience in transforming pain into strength. As these stories are brought into the light, healing and hope begin to flourish.

Red Jeans Redemption
Red Jeans Redemption (RJR) builds upon The Scarlet Cord exhibit, which raised awareness of child sex trafficking. Expanding the focus to include all sexual traumas, RJR empowers adult survivors to share their stories anonymously. Combining art and advocacy, the project uses bold red to command attention and ignite important conversations. By educating the public, it reveals hidden pain, fosters understanding, and offers survivors a path to hope and healing, transforming pain into resilience.
